Royal Viking-class cruise ship built in 1973 for Royal Viking Line as the 5-star luxury vessel Royal Viking Sea. She was sold in 1991 to Royal Cruise Line, Greece and renamed Royal Odyssey. Sailed from 1997 until 2002 for Norwegian Cruise Line and Norwegian Capricorn Cruise Line as Norwegian Star (1). In 2004 Phoenix Kreuzfahrten needed a replacement for their original Albatros and they purchased her. After a difficult period for Phoenix because of the Corona Pandemic they were forced to sell her to become a hotel ship in Egypt but instead she went for scrap in India in 2021.
