She was one of Royal Caribbean’ Cruises first trio of ships and sailed for RCL from 1970 until 1995 as their Nordic Prince. In 1980 she was lengthened at the Wartsila shipyard by adding a midship-section of 26 mtrs. Sold to Sun Cruises in 1995 and renamed Carousel. RCL demanded her Sky Lounge (a lounge attached to her funnel) to be removed, being their trademark. In 2004 she passed on to Louis Cruises but chartered back to Sun Cruises for another year. Later renamed Aquamarine. In 2010 Louis wanted to modrenize its fleet and she was sold to Ocean Star Cruises from Mexico who operated her as Ocean Star Pacific. In 2011 she suffered an engine room fire. In 2015 sold to DV Enterprises Int. and renamed Pacific. Shortly thereafter she was sold for scrap and beached in Alang.
