Today, the Marina is docked in the port of Rijeka where she serves as a floating hotel, bar and restaurant. Originally, she was built in Denmark for ferry service in the Baltic in 1936 as Kronprinsessan Ingrid, who also was her godmother. Laid up during the war, she was used in 1945 to transport survivors of the Nazi camps from Germany to Sweden. She was reamed Christofer Polhem in 1955, but stayed in the Baltic . In 1961 she was rebuilt, a stern ramp was added for vehicle access. Rederi Ab Svea bought her in 1963 and operated her between Stockholm and Mariehamn as the Marina. She was then sold to Losinsjka Plovidba and sailed on ferry services between Jugoslavian ports and Venice until 2006. Her current owners had her converted to a floating hotel. Marina was renovated internally in 2018 and currently features a bar on her former outside after deck, an a la carte restaurant, a lounge which can be used for presentations and 35 comfortable hotel rooms.
